Transmission acting up

Last week as I was pulling in to a parking lot I heard a strange clicking sound from under the car. Since then the car seems to bang when putting it in to drive especially after cold start. I live in Fort Lauderdale and have had some flooding in the area but my car was not submerged. I have also noticed the standard complaints regarding the transmission. I have a service appointment today but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts. It's a 2020 ST with 33000 miles. No mods have been done as of yet. I want to make sure the car is ok before making any modifications.

If you haven’t had any updates done, there are some for the transmission. Also a tsb for a snap ring.
