Time sensitive help needed, RE: Lowering using Eibach

The shop I chose to lower my 2025 ST states I don't need 4 wheel alignment because the rear camber cannot be adjusted, he states "I was underneath it, and the rear can't be adjusted". Everything I read stated camber isn't adjustable, but toe is. Am I wrong here, by stating the 4 wheel alignment still needs to be done? By the way this is semi time sensitive because it goes in for alignment first thing tomorrow. TIA!

Unless they drastically changed the 25's, he's wrong. The upper link on the inner joint where it bolts to the rear subframe is on a cam bolt from the factory. There is a thread on here with a pic of it, do a search or maybe someone knows what thread it was and will post a link.

The rear camber can be adjusted and you should have it aligned after lowering. You might want to find a different shop that can properly align it.

It’s a slotted connection, not a cam or eccentric, but otherwise correct.

It’s astounding how many shops don’t know how to align these things 5 years in.

Combatvet, first, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for serving.

Secondly, I had a set of Eibach springs installed in my '23 last year.. (FWIW, my Ex lowered 1.7", measured at the peak of the wheelwells, on each corner.)

Alignment looked OK, and I and others drove it about 6000 miles before I looked at the tread on the rear tires (damned expensive Continental DW6s); both were warn down to about the wear bars.. There went a kilobuck! Had it aligned by National who did an excellent job. Drives better too.

Well, I got my ST back from the shop . They did a superb job on the install, everything feels OEM tight. mail.google.jpg

Thank you to everyone for the advice and the kind words. I'll post a review and pics once I've installed the spacers.
