First, I want to give a huge shout out to Bruce from SuperForged. The shop that installed the break kit did not find the pins for the front calipers while installing the new kit. We were at a stand still with the ST on the Lift.
I contacted Bruce, and his guys weren’t able to overnight the pins so he got in the car and drove 1.5 hours down to my shop to give them a set of pins he had on hand. I truly appreciate that. You barely see this type of customer service now a days. He wanted to make things right!

Awesome! How long was the break in period?

This is a perfect example of why you inventory every single part before you ever tear down a car for an install of any kind.

Superforged Brake Break-in Process, it's a little more involved than old school procedures.

Preparation
  1. Find a safe, open location. Choose a quiet road or large empty parking lot where you can accelerate and brake multiple times without interruptions.
  2. Clean the new brake rotors. Before installation, it is crucial to clean off any anti-corrosion coating on the rotors. Use brake cleaner or hot, soapy water to remove the oil and ensure there is no contamination.
  3. Perform initial light braking. Drive normally for a few minutes and use the brakes gently to ensure they are functioning correctly and to warm them up slightly.
Bedding-in procedure
  1. Warm-up phase (5–6 repetitions):
    • Accelerate to 30–40 mph.
    • Apply moderate brake pressure to slow down to about 5–10 mph. Do not come to a complete stop.
    • Repeat this process 5 to 6 times in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool completely between stops.
  2. Intermediate phase (3–4 repetitions):
    • Increase your speed to about 50 mph.
    • Apply firm, but not aggressive, braking pressure to slow down to 5–10 mph. Still, do not come to a complete stop.
    • Repeat this 3 to 4 times.
  3. Hard braking phase (3–4 repetitions):
    • Increase your speed to 55–60 mph.
    • Brake firmly and aggressively, but avoid activating your Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and slow down to about 5–10 mph.
    • Repeat this 3 to 4 times. You may notice the brakes begin to fade and may smell resin burning off—this is normal.
  4. Cool-down phase:
    • Immediately after the last hard stop, drive at a moderate cruising speed (e.g., 40–50 mph) for 5–10 minutes without using the brakes.
    • If you are forced to stop, give yourself enough room to roll and prevent the pads from being pressed against the hot rotors for too long.
    • Park the vehicle and allow the brakes to cool completely to ambient temperature for at least an hour before driving normally.
Important considerations
  • Avoid coming to a complete stop: Coming to a full stop while the brakes are extremely hot can cause an imprint of the pad material to be left on the rotor, which can cause vibration or judder later.
  • Don't use the parking brake: After completing the cool-down drive, do not engage the parking brake while the pads and rotors are still hot.
  • Allow for a break-in period. Full bedding may take a few hundred miles of normal driving to reach maximum effectiveness, but the core procedure lays the essential foundation
