Steeda or aFe Sway-Bar?

The front and rear bars need to be balanced correctly- as I'm sure you all know. For me, on a street driven vehicle, I'd do the PIU front and rear sways and shocks. You better believe that Ford has made some significant investment in engineering to address that market segment. The PIU vehicles are tested pretty extensively and the results made public, so you can bet it's a pretty well balanced vehicle. Otherwise, I'd stick with the Steeda parts. Just my opinion.

I have a 2020 with 99,000 on it is it safe to say to change out front struts and reap Shocks?? also I have a on the ST a set of Eibach Springs.. I looking aggresive ride but with a little comfort, would PIU front and rear sway help as well?

He moved on to greener pastures a while back. Not sure if he still checks in or not but haven’t seen him post in a year or so.
To your question though…yes at 99K it’s past time for shocks and struts. I would recommend the PIU parts for that. They’re rumored to be firmer than the ST parts but not proven. They do ride great though.
I wouldn’t do the PIU swaybars, the rear is only 2mm larger than stock. Go with a Steeda or Afe rear bar on the firmest setting and skip the front bar altogether.

I thought the hole furthest from the end of the bar was the softest setting. At least that's what Steeda says on they're website.

I’m fairly certain the hole closest to the bar is the stiffest setting, which makes sense when you think about it. The hole farthest from the bar would be the softest.


I went with the middle setting. On a curve I drive every day, pushing it a bit, I was able to carry about 5 mph more than before. I also noticed that if you add too much steering input after the install, the car will really dig in and respond more abruptly in the direction you’re turning. It definitely took a little getting used to.

Absolutely not. The outside hole is the softest.

I always recommend the firmest. These cars love it.
