I confirmed with AFE the cold air intake will be out in about 6 weeks. I’ll wait to tune and do the Intercooler after that comes out.

I’m really curious to see what they come up with for a CAI. Open filters directly behind the radiator stack don’t interest me very much.

Especially since the intake is SO restricted. Have you seen the hole it pulls through?

Curious to see if they do anything to address that.

Yeah I asked for a diagram but no luck. I’m sure they will have a closed option.

Has anyone taken off the pipes to see if it has a “silencer” ? Like the F150 and expedition?

Definitely an odd set up. I don’t even see a clamp setup on the drivers side.

Although you will not see the springs, here is the product start to finish. Stripped / sandblasted / powder coated gloss red.

Springs installed and will pick it up tomorrow after the clear bra is complete and wash/detail. I’ll report back on the alignment as well.
