Since I'm not too tech savvy, is there a way to update the navigation map?
Recently our state (CT) re numbered the Interstate and Parkways.

Just called Ford. They said the Nav updates are done every May. Free or if paid. Since I bought the Explorer in May, it was done at the dealer. The road change was done about a month (or less) ago. So My update was done already BEFORE the CT road change. I'm SOL until next May. AND would need to pay.

You could use Waze or Google maps through android auto or Apple carplay. It would also give you live traffic updates.

I would buy the wireless CarPlay dongle a few ppl recommended on here. It’s $9 on amazon and will pop up Waze or google maps automatically from your phone when you turn on the truck.
