I recently bought a 2023 Explorer ST from a salvage auction, which came with a clan title.
I’m excited to repair and modify it, focusing on modifications that actually make a difference, such as an intercooler, downpipes, a 4-bolt rear subframe, and a tune.
I’ve owned a tuned 2014 Explorer Sport for the past 10 years, and this one feels like a moderate upgrade. The only downside is the aesthetic and comfort of the rear seats, their foldability, and the absence of adjustable pedals. Oh, and there’s no 4-bolt rear subframe. Even the 14-inch rear diff that barely sees much torque has a 4-bolt.
