Hey everyone,

I’m planning to upgrade some fluid lines in my vehicle and wanted advice on braided hoses. I know they’re stronger and more heat-resistant than standard rubber hoses, but I’m unsure about the best way to route them in a tight engine bay.

Are there specific fittings or clamps that work best with braided hoses to avoid leaks or abrasion? Also, any tips on cutting and flaring them properly? I’d love to hear from anyone with hands-on experience regarding installation, durability, and maintenance.

Thanks for sharing your insights!

There are no fittings on this engine that accept a real braided hose.
