Post Warranty Suspension Sloppiness

My explorer was just in for 30 days for originally a leaking rear differential(again) but they ended up rebuilding most of the transmission as well.

Since picking it up yesterday the rear end feels almost like it's floating and moving around dramatically. A mix of the rear tramlining and feeling like there's large amounts of movement laterally that takes a second to sort itself out when it happens from hitting a bump.

I've attached pics of both of the bottom of the shocks as they look to have really large gaps. Waiting to get it back in so any info for things to check before hand would be appreciated. Thank you!

Nothing wrong with those shocks. The bolt is angled…it only goes in so far.

Thanks for the quick feedback @UNBROKEN. I was hoping to hear from you on this. If you were looking for something to assess is there anything you might check? I'm currently at 54k miles and have had HR springs and steeda rear sway bar since 4k so I know how it should feel and briefly getting up to 75mph this morning it felt like the rear was almost floating or hydroplaning and could go either direction at any moment.

If they had everything apart I’d look at the alignment first. Really bad toe could make it walk around like that.
