Odometer Mileage Mis-Match

I have looked at this several times and cannot explain it. I have never reset the Trip2 from the time my 2025 ST was new. I noticed something a couple days ago when scrolling through my screens. The Trip 2 has more miles recorded than the actual odometer does. It has 7.2 MORE miles than is recorded on the truck.

What am I missing? Has anyone else noticed this as well?

That's a ratio of .9988, so only a 1.2 mile difference over 1000 miles. I wonder if it's like the old days where mileage came off when going backward, or maybe just speedo mismatch.

My 2020 resets the miles after a while but the clock and MPG don't reset on Trip 2. On Trip 1, I reset at every fillup.

I do the same with trip 1, I usually use trip 2 for oil change milage, but I added the oil change to FordPass and forgot to reset the trip2.

Transport mode?

AI Overview
Transport mode on a Ford Explorer is a temporary state that preserves battery power during shipping, but it can cause the trip odometer to show miles that are not on the main odometer. To exit transport mode, you must follow a specific sequence, such as putting the key in the ignition, pressing the brake five times, and then turning the ignition to the ON position. To use the trip odometer, use the five-way controls on the steering wheel to scroll to the "Trip Odometer" screen and hold the "OK" button to reset it to zero.
