Wow gross, that connector is all shitted up! I'd put some dielectric grease in the new to maybe prevent the stuck corrosion issue in the future.
Oh, definitely! Should have been in there from the get go! It’s not rocket science! Especially given the location right behind the wheel! I’m checking and greasing all the connectors down there while it’s up in the air!

Hey moose, I just had the same issue! Mine was full of corroded metal. I can't understand why they don't put grease in these connectors. Just plain stupid. The new connector doesn't even have the right color wires. They are all just geen. But they are easy to match up. Just four in a row. Wish I had found a connector on ebay. I paid $90 from an online dealer! So just a heads up to everyone out there, get under there and grease all the connectors or the same thing is going to happen to you.
