Called dealers today to schedule the warranty recalls for my 2025 explorer st. One dealer wouldn't make appointment, just drop off and return when completed. The 2nd dealer said this could be done at my home. They are sending someone tomorrow. Anyone heard of this?

Yep, they were really pushing that a few years ago, most dealers don’t care about doing it, some still do it though.

My servicing dealer does. They are coning tomorrow for one. I like it as it saves me time and money.

The mobile warranty recalls went pretty smooth.
He was here about 1 hour for the software update and check
Sure easier than driving to dealer and waiting.
Only issue I see is that the tire pressure doesn't show on the ford app on my phone

Haven’t done a recall but we had the wife’s Ecosport serviced at home. I was impressed with the drop cloth they put down to protect against oil on the concrete. Only thing they couldn’t manage was topping off the tires with Nitrogen.

Had to drive a short distance to get the tire pressure to populate.
Also had to reset a couple of things after the update

The mobile update for me was a bust. The tech tried for close to 3 hours to install the update and failed, So now next week I need to take it in so they can try at the shop.

Hate to hear that.
I figured that would be my luck.
Please post your dealer results

There is more issues. After I drove my explorer I found out a number of issues. My screen is now blank except while backing up. I have no radio. No audible warning. No cruise control. It is a total mess and I wish that I did not let them try to update it.

Oh hell no if i were you I would be at the dealer slamming my keys down on the svc managers desk demanding a loaner until they fix what THEY broke

Find a new dealer.

Gotta agree with this
I would be waiting on them to open the doors.
Hate this for the owner. I would be making a lot of phone calls and sending emails about this dealer. No reason for this type of service

Guys, this is a software update. It is Ford's error. My dealer did not create this update. I have been getting great service from them since I bought my Explorer.

Here is an update. After I took it into service they decided that the APIM is bad. The part was not in stock so now waiting on parts.
