Looking at purchasing 2022 ST. Two tires were replaced with new (12/32) put on front, the rear tires have 6/32. From what I understand, there shouldn’t be more than 2/32 difference. This is about three times that. It is Gold Certified, but dealer says they don’t need to change the others. I also read that that that difference can damage the AWD system, and potentially void the warranty. What do you think? Can you point me to documentation that supports the need for four matching tires? Also, shouldn’t the new tires be on the back? Thank you!

I would either walk away from that car or make them match all the tires tread depth. They can shave them if need be.
