Lowered Cars /W Spacers And Adding -.5 Deg To Rear...

Anybody have before and after shots of their car Lowered on H&R's and wheel spacers without the -.5 deg adjustments..
Or shots of anyone who hasn't made the adjustment and just lowered their car used spacers and didn't?

It’s -.5°, the decimal is pretty important.
What it does is make the rear wheels match the front as far as how they fit in the fender wells…flush on both ends with the right wheel or spacer.

It’s -.5°, the decimal is pretty important.
What it does is make the rear wheels match the front as far as how they fit in the fender wells…flush on both ends with the right wheel or spacer.
OOPS.. Correction made... huge delta between -5 and -.5 deg...

2020FordRaptor... Thanks for the link... In the link I can see the difference between lowered w/ spacers and OEM but I guess I'm missing EXACTLY what the diff is.

I had my H&R's installed last week... and my spacers are on their way. I'll take a look (and possibly pics) of what they look like now for comparison

Secondly whats that do to your inside rear tire wear...

I'm in sponge mode trying to learn as much as I can about this platform....

I mentioned this in my thread yesterday asking how you guys are getting to that bolt and more specifically getting enough torque to break that loose as well as tighten again.

Your camber after a drop will be in the -2° range…moving it out to -.5° stands the wheel up straighter eliminating the inward lean at the top that keeps it from being flush.

Just get a tool on it however works for you but that’s the adjustment point.

This is a good example of how much negative camber you’ll have using normal alignment specs.
-.5° gets rid of that…and the need for a staggered spacer.

Took it to two local shops for alignment, neither one knew about jacking the wheels up, told me I needed adjustable UCA's to get it right. I just gave up out of frustration.

There’s way too many “green means go” shops out there.

I just spoke to a service manager that I have dealt with for a long time with past Mustangs and my Raptor. I shot him a picture of the Ford Rear Camber procedures and also the preferred setting of -.5 and he said that they are familiar with that adjustment in the rear. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

You’ll likely have to make them do that camber setting. They’ll be looking to just get it green and send you down the road.

I have requested that and he knows that I am OCD. He is an enthusiast himself that ran a heavily modded Focus ST in past.
