Been hearing a lot about Livernois tunes. Anyone have a comparison between what I’m running now,ZFG, which is a great tune in itself , and Livernois?

ZFG holds all the records, and has a lot of amazing reviews about the tranny tuning and throttle mapping. Livernois is okay, but definitely not as good.

Once you go ZFG, everything else is a downgrade.

Can't compare others, but did just complete my ZFG tune process. It was super easy with their app and module. Hardest part was finding an empty straight road to data log on, especially with the Thermal exhaust and downpipes not being very "stealth" lol.

Crazy happy with how the tune came out. Did the DMS version so Normal mode has a nice uplift in power and better daily driver shifting, Sport is hardcore max power and very sport oriented shifts (like stock sport mode but on steroids), and tow is tow of course. Happy to report the vehicle is now even more of a beast. Wife confirms "its like I'm on a rollercoaster" as far as the thrills go.

Livernois is a canned tune. ZFG is custom. It all depends on what you want and use your car for. ZFG folks tend to want the best available and the Dragy validation that goes with it.

I have the Livernois... like the performance, the shifting improvement, the price (they had a $499 sale when I got it back in the day), the customer service and the free updates. I have no interest in Dragy numbers or 1/4 mile times--although I like to hear what others are getting!

Throttle mapping after a tune kind of confuses me. If the drive modes are already changing throttle maps, transmission shift points and various drivetrain stuff, why would you need to remap the throttle after adding power across the RPM range? I'm sorry if this is dumb question.

Two quick questions:
So you like everything about the tune and company but ZFG is better? Even for a daily?
Also, no one has ever really explained the 'doesn't skip gears' part of the Livernois tune. I understand it's not skipping gears but, it seems like it would then be shifting all the time, no? But folks say they like it. How does it drive differently when it doesn't 'skip gears?'
Thx
