If you’re looking to strengthen your differential setup on your Explorer especially if you launch aggressively or have performance mods, IMO the best results comes from adding the JXB DIff Insert and Steeda’s Diff Brace.

If you can’t afford both then you should first start with the JXB insert for firming up the bushings. The JXB Diff Insert was super affordable, super easy install, and most importantly reduces diff movement with ZERO NVH impact. JXB has the best affordable product out there to stiffen the subframe bushing to reduce diff movement. Shout out to JXB!!!!

There may be no increase in NVH on a 3 bolt car but several of us have removed the inserts from 4 bolt cars due to the increase in NVH.

Very true, I can see where the NVH can be increased for the double rear differential bolt boys. Therefore, I’ll rephrase my post to no NVH for my ST but I do have the single rear differential bolt.
