I searched here and in the ForScan forums but didn't find anything specific on this topic. Can the 80 MPH speed limit restriction be raised? It's not that I want her to be able to go over 80 MPH but the warning messeges and chimes are annoying. You have to drive 70-75 to keep up with the general flow of traffic. I'd like to be able to set it to around 87-88 so the warnings don't start when she gets up to 70 MPH.

Unfortunately I believe the 80MPh max limit is hard-coded in the vehicle programming. Not configurable.

Here are the directions from the owners manual. You will need to go into the settings to see what parameters can be changed.

The max is 80 going through the MyKey settings. There must be a way to set the max speed, just not through MyKey.

Self control of your right foot works really well. Or instead of getting the top speed limiter removed like most of us do when we get a tune, have it lowered to what you want then you wont need to use My Key at all.

It’s not for me, it’s for my daughter!
