I recently increased by half a quart(to 6.5). I'm probably not doing the launches that cause concern, but hey, why not.

Agree. And then you have the 6.0 qts vs 6.5 (oil starvation) if you are running hard.

Ours come with 6.5, that is what I measured coming out of the factory fill. With a filter change 6.5 back in gets it to between the hash and the dot after 10 minutes of wait after running.

The shop that did mine said they put 6 in, and it's at the dot before I added 1/2 qt. Interesting.

Shops typically don't let it drain long enough as time is money in that building.

I also have been checking mine cold, sitting all night. But anywho, I'm running up 1/2 qt from what they put in.
