I started off scanning it and then it starts working all day long until the next morning, it does it again. I found the battery was shorting with high resistance, failed the test, so i replaced it. I reset all codes. The next morning the same thing, I replaced the brake pedel switch, same exact story, the next day, it was stuck again. I spoke with a Ford Master Tech, he told me the knobs go bad, I bought the correct one and installed it. Did n't need to load the software, I got lucky, it worked until the next morning. It is still doing it.
It seems it goes to sleep and it will not wake up the module that sees the brake pedal signal and tells the knob it can move.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Also, since I changed the battery, I now have a no pre-collision assist dash warning and the cruise control will not engage.

What error codes are you seeing?
after I change the battery according to the isolation manual, it should’ve fixed it I confirmed the battery was shorting with high resistance and it was throwing off the cancer system, but what’s happening this vehicle falls asleep overnight and that system doesn’t wake up when I touch the starter to allow the shifter to move. It’s like it’s asleep. I’ve already replaced it with a new one and it was working perfectly until the next morning.
