First time poster! Need some thoughts on a pending 2026 ST Purchase from Dealership

Long time reader first time poster. I'm dealing with my local ford dealership on a new 2026 ST in the light blue color. A must for me is the bench seating. Dealer found one with a quick search, but it was gone the next day. Dealer found another one yesterday but it's a dealer car and has almost 3k miles on it. They offered me a whopping $1 off per mile for the 3k miles. Asked my sales rep to find out where the car is located. He goes to his final numbers guy and says it's in Florida, I'm in Atlanta. Won't tell him where in Florida which I find strange. Go into closing room and signing room for all the details and am handed an odometer sheet to sign it says the car has 2,568 miles on it. Is this the total before being driven to Atlanta? I asked for a photo of the odometer to verify, that was 2 days ago now. Is my dealership playing games with me here. If I'm about to drop almost 70K on a brand new car CASH, I want some answers. Thoughts? Thanks

Only $3k off is not worth it at all. You can usually get a new ST for around $54k to $59k OTD, that dealer is taking you for a ride. I wouldn’t pay more than $50k OTD for a dealer demo.

Orig dealer called me this morning after we voiced some serious concerns with the car located in Florida and being a dealer demo car. They were able to "find" me another car in North Carolina and my salesperson was personally going to pick it up. He just texted me with the odometer reading when he picked up the car and it has 4 miles on it. So I'm quite happy I didn't go with the shady dealer in FL.
