Has anyone come across where they go to start their vehicle and the main entertainment screen just continues to show explorer and the infotainment system and climate control don't show up on the screen at all. It just shows the Explorer screen. This has happened at least six times I tried during the car off and on again, which did not help going through the process of during the car opening the door, letting the screen fade away, closing the door and restarting what did help was doing that and pushing the unlock button on the doors. This for some reason caused the screen restart to load the profile after 30 seconds or so then it's been working fine. This is the heat related issue or is anybody else experiences? Thank you for your feedback.

I had something like this happen once, I did the reset by holding the power button (in the middle of the volume control knob) down for a few seconds.

Mine shows the Explorer screen for up to around 30 seconds or more randomly. A couple of weeks ago the screen started to boot up but stayed blank. I waited a bit and still nothing. I shut off the vehicle and restarted it and it was still the same. I was on a day trip 250 miles away from home so I had no choice but to drive it. As soon as I put the gearshifter in drive, everything finally popped up. Not sure if it was a coincidence that putting it in drive caused the screen to reappear or if it just happened to pop up at that exact same time. With a blank screen I had no climate controls, radio, etc. (Obviously nothing tied to the damn screen).

Just more electronic glitchy JUNK in vehicles to screw up.

I had a couple different issues arise with the infotainment system during the first month I had the vehicle. It would forget settings and profiles. The problems all went away on their own and I assume it was the initial system updates they were pushing out. The symptoms would occur after the vehicle sat awhile or had time to download them.

I have no issues now. I'll second what the other member said about holding the power button for a few seconds to reset the system if a problem occurs. Hopefully yours resolves itself like mine did. (y)
