I left my last V8 when I got rid of my '70 GTO. Since then, it was a straight 6 with the Supra and 2 Ford V6s. I feel more of a victory when I blow away a V8 with this 3 liter 6. :)

V8’s exclusively until my ST. Love the power you can get out of this V6 reasonably easily. The awd is great for launching.

My Ctsv had 700rwhp but you just plain couldn’t keep the tires from spinning unless you went with drag radials.

Shame you got rid of your 70 GTO. I have a 68 and 05 GTO's.

My 2016 2wd F150 was north of 800 to the tire on the big tune…it was WAY faster than the ST from a roll but like your car almost useless from a dig on a hard tire. The ST is all around more fun to drive.

Yes much more fun! So long vs as I’m not on a road racing course with a set of R888’s

I know, right? It was pretty much done and I didn't have the $ to restore at the time. Just about everything I've had since would do circles around it. Not to mention what it's worth would be today though.

I like the '68s with the hideaways.

Agreed!
My brother-in-law has a C5 that has 850 to the wheels. On a cement hwy, it would plain light 'em up going 100mph in a manual 4th gear. Just sick!

That CTsv must have launched on a 60 stab though!

Wow all you guys with north of 800 WHP at the wheels that must have been crazy. I know the feeling of 600 whp to the wheels and I know that was hard to find grip at low speeds.
