Hey All,
My rear hatch stopped working. I can unlatch it but have to open manually. Thought maybe it might be a fuse but without the fuse in, I can't unlatch it so
I don't think that's the problem. Second thought is the hatch motor.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.

Try pulling the neg terminal of the battery to see if the module reboots. Maybe pull codes if any.

Ok, this one's on me!
I thought I was disabling the sensor to open the hatch when you wave your foot below the rear bumper. Instead, I disabled the hatch itself.
All good now.

Fyi, to this day the only way I have found to disable the foot sensor is by unplugging the module under the bumper. There’s a brief writeup that I did a few years ago kicking around the forum because my tailgate kept shutting on my head.

Thanks for the heads up Adam! I've been hit on the head a couple times but hadn't had any unusual triggers from areas other than right behind the vehicle.
Also appreciate the humor in your writeup. :giggle:
