Hi all,

I have to disengage the driver's front window from the window regulator and remove the regulator. How hard do I have to push to release the glass from the clips that hold it to the regulator ??? I tried pushing one and almost got the glass to release, but I was afraid the plastic would snap. The window partially released, but I couldn't lift it, and it re-engaged the glass---It needed just a bit more to clear the glass. How tough are these plastic retainers ??? 2025 model year.

Thanks,

RON

Considering what you describe is what they’re designed to do…push harder.

UPDATE.

The installation of the keypad is all done. The window disengaged quite easily--I guess I wasn't pushing the release tab hard enough. Everything is back together. Now, the only thing left is to activate the keypad with FORScan. That will be another project.
