Thanks! It's my understanding that the 2.5" is not as loud and boisterous as the 3" and doesn't drone, am I correct? I am just looking for a little more volume and better sound than the stock exhaust.

Correct no drone on the 2 1/2 inch. Had that on my last explorer. Plan on going 3 inch on the new one.

I just did FenFab and AWE 3" can't speak for other catted downpipes, but no drone, and it's not very loud at all except cold start. Anyone who says 3" is "too loud" has only had stock exhausts their whole life, or just wanted stock anyway
