I'm looking to install a dashcam and need a power tap. Looks like the Dongar 5-pin Type F is the right adapter I need. The compatibility chart shows, "ST-Line, Limited ST, King Ranch, Platinum". Is there supposed to be a coma between Limited and ST or does it mean it only works with certain ST's? A little confusing.
yes, it is a typo, all the parts in the head are the same.

Has anyone had any experience with the Wolfbox Mirror dashcam? I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on this for a while now.

Just hardwired the Viofo A119 Mini 2. So far so good. My first dash cam. Hope to never need it!
How has it worked out? I was considering this one.

On the topic, a friend made a good suggestion which I followed yesterday…

Assuming your dashcam(s) record to an SD card, remove it occasionally to verify it is still saving the data. Those cards can die and then your dashcam is worthless.

Some cool options here. I second the VIOFO. I'm on my second one (upgraded with this vehicle) and have zero complaints for the last couple of years. Went less expensive routes before and got what I paid for. I used the hardwire (voltage monitor included) kit from them and goes into sentry when I turn of vehicle perfectly. Front and rear camera have great field of view and the quality with that sony sensor is fantastic.

I'm thinking about the Wolfbox also. Does anyone have any experience thus far?
I think I am going to pull the trigger on one of these and if it wont work in the ST I will put it in one of my work vehicles. My concern is that I dont know what features are tied into the factory rear view mirror like the cruise control features, headlight sensors, etc. I feel like the only thing the factory mirror has tied to it is auto dimming but I will find out I guess.

I really like the look of that dashcam. Oversized dashcams are distracting (IMO).

But the reviews aren't great. https://www.amazon.com/BlackVue-DR7...al/dp/B0BVQHMDBV#averageCustomerReviewsAnchor

Let us know if it works out and if you like it!

You should take the time to really scrutinize those reviews, Blackvue is the gold standard of consumer based Dashcams, plus I'm having it professionally installed with the LTE, and battery module, so over $1400 for a cam/install. Buy once, cry once!
