Good Afternoon, #teamlethal FANS!
In this video, Joe takes a look at CVFabrication’s all new Intercooler made specifically for the 2025 Explorer ST, giving a full overview of the unit itself, showing some before and after data through 0-60 testing and datalogging, and showing you the proper way to get installed on your Explorer.
For the testing, we focused on Intake Air Temperatures (Before the air enters the intercooler) and Charge Air Temperatures (After the air passes through the intercooler) using the HPTuners VCM Scanner and RTD4 device. After 3, back-to-back 0-60 runs, the charge air temperatures were 30 degrees different at peak, never seeing over 93°F with the CVFab unit, versus the stock intercooler which saw over 122°F.
In direct correlation with the Charge Air Temperatures, 0-60 times with the CVFabrication Intercooler were extremely consistent compared to the stock intercooler.
