Car Play or Sync?

What do you use?

I have the wireless carplay adapter, works well, but Waze app only fills upper portion of screen. Can get, respond to text messages.
Sync - have to plug in USB cord, but Waze can fill entire screen. Haven't figured out how to get text messages.

Neither solution perfect.

Haven't tried the Sync Waze in a while but when I first got the Explorer, it was low resolution (despite being full screen) and had very slow refresh. I like the Carplay Waze much better even though it is smaller. I just wish the Carplay mapping apps would take GPS from the phone and not the car, which at time is problematic for me. The fact that Siri is so much better at voice commands seals the deal.
