Depends on what you want.
The Atak is louder than the S type.
There are several videos posted on Youtube where you can hear the differences.
Just type in Ford Explorer ST Borla exhaust!

If you just want some sound you can have any muffler shop swap mufflers for a fraction of the price. You won’t gain any power from either Borla kit.

I agree. Borla is quite expensive due to their quality of steel and work.
IF I could go back I would go with a custom exhaust and save some money as well but hey you live and you learn.

I asked Borla why they don't upgrade their product to a full length 2.5 inch system for the Explorer and all they said is they have stopped any further development on the Explorer exhaust.
