Are there any negatives to installing a blow off valve?? I want to have one installed on my 25 when I get it.

No negatives…they’re just kinda fun to have. They’re not really that loud…with your windows up you won’t even hear it during normal driving.

You might not even have a BOV on the new 2025. Would have to get an aftermarket intake like FenFab to accommodate an aftermarket BOV.

Thanks for your response, I appreciate it. I’ve been looking on the Lethal Performance website at the Turbosmart BOV Dual Port VR13. Do you know about this product? I wanted to know if it’s a good choice for $275? Also, is it an easy install?

Oh wow, ok thank you. I guess I’ll have to revisit this when I get the ST.

You can’t use that. Your best option is to look at www.fenfabrication.com and order what you want. Your car won’t have the provision for w TS Dual Port.

If you are tuned before you have the BOV do you need a re tune?

It doesn’t change anything that the engine would need to know about. So no.

I have a 2024, which I understand has a plumb back valve (more like a “no fun valve”)? Is the Whoosh blow off valve adapter meant for that, if you want to “bypass” it, and have it vent to the air? Basically cheat it into a bov? Would definitely be a cheaper option to get that bov sound.

I went with a FenFab V2 intake on my 25. One added benefit was the recirc sound I picked up because of the open filters. Sounds like a blow off valve to me.

I’m in Illinois also. Wondering how that intake will be during the winter, with all of the snow/salt. Looks pretty badass though!

No, can’t do that with the plumb back valve. An open box intake will add all the fun turbo noises.

I have had many open air CAI's on multiple vehicles without any issues up here in the snow belt. One of them had the filter so low in the engine bay it was about 10" off the ground and no issues. The only thing that worried me about that intake was flooding and running through deepish water. The placement of the V2 filters, is perfect. They are tucked into the bumper cover enough to protect from the elements and high enough not to worry about any standing water.
Where are you located? I am in the southern suburbs.

It’ll do just fine. It’s tucked up on the top corners of the front bumper, isolated from everything.
