Why not turn it off using Forscan?

Disconnected battery, disconnected ASE, reconnected stock harness (no ASE), and the alert cleared. Not a surprise but confirms the alert is not related to the braking system. Tomorrow, will plug in the ASE again and be alert for the alert.

No alert yet. A new message appears, "AutoStop off by pushbutton" (or something similar). So far, so good.

If the Hill Assist Not Active alert pops up, I will just push the AS button and let it work for a few cycles, then turn it off again. I hope this will clear the alert without the need to disconnect the battery and the ASE. Maybe the next software update will give us (all) the option to turn off AutoStop like it is an option.
