Did some testing and I'm getting faults with my 25' ST and the Autostop Eliminator "AE050" model (https://www.autostopeliminator.com/products/2025-ford-explorer-autostop-eliminator). The two faults are:
1. Hill Decent Control (shows in the cluster on startup)
2. Auto Hold (Say fault when I push the button for it in the line of buttons next to the volume)

Removed it, faults went away.

Re-added it, faults came back.

I did NOT plug in a scanner to see what the codes were, but I did just ping the Autostop folks to see if they know. Anyone else run into this issue?

I have a 25' ST with the same AS eliminator. Recent Ford updates have been screwing with the AE eliminator. I am not having the issues you are but at times it hasn't kept the last setting because of updates. The fix is to remove the negative battery cable for about 15 mins or longer anbd then reattach it. That has fixed my issues when the occur.

Ugh, I'll give that a try as well.

Well, that was interesting...

Unplugged the neg term, held the brake pedal for a few min to drain, plugged it back in, started the car, turned it off and let it all cycle off.
Reinstalled the "A-S-S" eliminator, and restarted it. No more errors and now it just tells me on startup that the "Auto Stop Start button was pressed". Interesting, but it's working with no faults again.

So far - I have been using the Explorer (25'-26') Start / Stop Eliminator (since October 2024) on my 2025 Ford Explorer without problems.
I don't believe its the auto S/S eliminator that is problematic itself. Ford over the air updates affect it sometimes and the fix is to reset everything by removing the neg. battery cable. I believe the mandated start / stop is going away with the Trump administration so possibly Ford will make a software change to allow the factory button to hold its last pressed position like the S/S eliminator.

I’m sure you already know this but you can use forscan to just turn off the start stop completely with no need to keep anything plugged in. It also sounds harder to use than it is
