2021 with 70,700 mileage due for an oil change. I’ve had some exhaust rattling intermittently and during sharp turns at slow speeds I’ve been hearing metal creaking and clicks.. so wanted those addressed as well.

The inspection report found:

-rear brakes needed (still original and good shape, just low.. that’s a win)
-coolant flush (been checking coolant and this was the first time they recommended)
-brake fluid flush
-both front lower rearward control arm bushings are showing some play

They could not find anything else obvious pointing to the steering noises so they said I could start there if I wanted. Everything else was surprisingly really tight and good at 70k.

The exhaust rattling was due to the flex pipe shields being completely loose. They recommended to take it to Mufflerman to see what they think for a quick fix. Supposedly my cats were good and no visible cracks.

I’ve already done both diffs and transfer case at 40k
Front brakes at 50k
Spark plugs at 60k

Any recommendations at my mileage for things to replace/check?
Any ideas on the creaking sounds/rearward control arms?

im going to mufflerman today to get the exhaust checked out.

Thanks ahead for any insight!

Serpentine belt and tensioner and spark plugs would be the only additions i can think of to add.

spark plugs have 10k on the good NGK colder plugs so I should be good for a bit but funny you mention the belt…

it’s just starting to squeak fresh after rainfalls so it might be time for that soon too.

Thank you!
