quick question - a +40 offset with a 305/40/22 will mimic the look of my ride now with the stock wheels and spacer? i think the spacer i have is the largest or 2nd largest you can buy - basically i want to remove the spacer and put +40 wheels all around - will it look similar to these? obviously without the spacer?

I dont want to run spacers but want it flush as can be

+30 offset with 22x10.5 on a 305/40r22 is perfectly flush. +40 offset is even more inset than the stock wheels.

That is a lot of spacer. I don’t think they even make that big. I think you have something like 1.25 IN at most.

You will rub with +40 rims and that tire setup. 8th Inches matter when it comes to clearance. What width rims are you looking at. What do you mean you can’t find anything else. Where are you looking?

Sadly you might have to find a different wheel. What width is the wheel? It would have to be at least 10” wide. If it is at least 10” wide +40 will rub the strut tire which is not good.

10.5 wheel

I do not want to scrub at all
So a 10.5 wheel, +40 WILL NOT work with that offset and tire setup. It will do worst things than just rubbing.

Well that is what would be perfectly flush. You could probably get a little higher offset (like +35 maybe) but it won’t be flush.

so to confirm - to get as flush as possible with NO spacers - run a 22x10.5 wheel with +30 offset - 305/40 tires and im flush(as close to as possible) and no rub?

Yes. No spacers. @UNBROKEN was the one who came up with the perfect formula.

I know it sucks. I really liked a set of wheels but the offset is completely wrong.

To clarify….not all 305’s are actually 305 wide…there’s variations. Some wide 305/40’s might slightly rub the back of the front fender liners when turning…some don’t. 305/35’s will not rub at all…that’s my fitment. If you’re gonna lower the car the 35 is the better choice anyway.
