Hi All,
Is this worth fixing or should I just buy another?
Got some serious curb scrapes trying to avoid a car. I'm thinking it can be smoothed out and repainted?
It's not cracked or out of round.

I cant see a photo but if its just on the surface a wheel repair specialist does wonders.

I would say just bite the bullet and get a replacement. Not sure how good the repair is going to look like.

I've replaced one and had two of them refinished, and I would rate the repair a 10 out of 10. I literally can't see any flaw in the repairs. That said, mine weren't quite as bad as the one pictured. I now have a spare rim sitting in a Ford Box, ready to rock just in case my wife "didn't see that" again. :ROFLMAO:

Make sure the place you choose to repair the wheel uses powder coating and not simply a repaint. I have seen a repair that used gloss black paint and though it looked okay sitting by itself, it didn't match the ones on the vehicle.

Where would you get this type of repair?

There are a few wheel repair places in my area. I ended up going to a place called "The Rim Doctor". They did a pretty good job!

They did good. I had a similar company come out to the house, amazed at what they can do. Looks new
