Is there a way to display the current gear on the display without being in manual drive? I saw when in "D" and you pull one of the shifter paddles it displays but then it goes away as soon as you take off. I could do it in a 2013 raptor I had.

Do all tuners do that or is it something you need to request?

I was happy with Livernois on my Edge ST's, but ZFG is goooood. It really becomes a custom tune. And after a few submissions, I ran it for a while, then felt that 1-2 and 2-3 in Sport were too hard. Sent me a revision the same day, really smoothed them out. I am headed into week two, and I think I'll send it back in to get the 4-5 eased off a little, and then it will be done. Runs like a scalded dog.

Original tune was in the fall, didn't realize he would keep tweaking the tranny for me. I was too used to shelf tunes.

Livernois also shows the gear. The can customize the shift firmness as well.

If the shift is too harsh, you can request them to soften it up a little.
Any custom tuner should be doing that, that’s not unique to Livernois.

I know that. Just putting it out there because it's a canned tune but you can request certain features, which is why Livernois calls it "custom". Also,. Livernois only recently figured out how to show gears. Before the past year or two, they couldn't.

I actually did not know Livernois would do that. When they did my Edge Sts, which were the 8spd and shifted fine, it was a one-and-done. I used Lund on my stangs. I have been tuning since you chipped shit in the 90's lol, and Adam has definitely impressed me. If he tunes what I buy, I'll always use him first, BUT the Livernois tunes on my Edges were quick.
