2020 ST with infotainment screen freezing

Hello everyone

I have a 2020 ST that started giving us a frozen screen almost daily a few months. Coincidently, if memory serves me well, it may have started after I attempted to install this:

I have to do a forced reset (power button/forward button) that solves the issue temporarily until I have to do it again next time we get the car started. I've checked that our Sync 3 is up-to-date, and when I attempted to do a master reset, after I press the "continue" button it does nothing - it freezes on that too and I have to do a soft reset (above) to get back to the home screen. I've checked the fuse (15) under the drive side and is good. Any ideas on how I can solve this issue without having to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade the Sync 3? Or, even how to successfully process a Master Reset since it currently freezes when I atempt to do one to see if this reset solves the issue?

If Carplay freezes, then yeah, could be the dongle. They are not all the same. But check to see if you have Sync 3 version 23188. That is the final version. Previous versions were bug ridden.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. That may help and is easy to try.

I uninstalled that dongle right away when I couldn't make it work.

Also, this is the version I have, and when I checked the latest software it can't back saying that I had the latest update. How can I get version 23188?
