FYI - if you're warranty shopping

Great, thanks! It’s less than 1/2 of the cost I’m seeing on Ford Pass.

FYI - if you're warranty shopping

It’s been through the Ford Pass app and Ford directly. I just look at Flood Ford, a name I’ve seen in other posts, and it’s much cheaper. But is it legit? Is it actually a Ford ESP that will work at any Ford dealer?

FYI - if you're warranty shopping

I’ve looked several times and for 5 years and 100,000 I get a price of over $3000. Any thoughts on why that might be?

    Harsh Shift Into Drive

When my ST is cold in the AM and I shift from R into D, the shift is quite harsh. No noise of any kind (my 2019 Mustang Ecoboost had an issue clunking into R when cold) but it causes the vehicle to lurch. Only happens the first time when cold. Jerks me in my seat. Anyone aware of a TSB or...

    Doors Lock Automatically

Wish I could tell you. What I may not have said is that it did not happen every time. I’m thinking it had to be something I was doing. I don’t know what it was but must have been.

    Doors Lock Automatically

OK thanks. I did shut off a setting and it seems to have stopped but I’ll keep my eye on it.

    Doors Lock Automatically

Looks like I do have automatic locking. Turned it off and problem resolved.

    Doors Lock Automatically

Good thought. No, not doing that. Being careful not to actually thinking the same thing. Just now it didn’t do it at all. Weird!

    Doors Lock Automatically

Most times when I park my ST in the garage and get out of the vehicle, the doors lock automatically before I even have a chance to open the back doors. Is this a setting? They don’t do it every time. Gets annoying when I just want to grab something from the back seat but the doors lock before...

    It’s not really strong.

    Exhaust on Cold Startup

I have a 2021 with just over 14,000 miles. Because it’s cold in the morning, I will often start it and let it run for a few minutes. I’ve noticed that it produces what seems to be an excessive amount of exhaust. it’s white, and appears to have a sulfur sort of smell. In other words, it...

    Winter Tires 21” Street Pac

So I got the Hakkas and when I got home realized they came studded. I hadn’t really looked at the tire place. Now I need to decide if I’m going to keep them or gripe because they were specifically NOT supposed to be studded.

    Winter Tires 21” Street Pac

Thanks everyone for the replies. I ended up going with the Hakkas for the piece of mind. Paying a lot more but I suppose if they make me more comfortable then they are worth it.

    Winter Tires 21” Street Pac

If we get three feet of snow I’m pretty sure I’m not going anywhere anyway!!

    Winter Tires 21” Street Pac

I’m in NH. Don’t travel on dirt roads much but the amount of ice/snow depends on the winter. I need to be where I need to be so I want something that I can count on.

    Winter Tires 21” Street Pac

I apologize if there is a thread I haven’t located on this topic. I have a 2021 with the 21” rims. I’m going to keep them for winter and not buy new, just winter tires. I’m finding few options. Mostly Pirelli Scorpion Winter and Nokias Hakkas. Any recommendations from those with some experience?
