Did the horsepower change on the 3.0L

Searching around, it seems ford started introducing the GpF on the 2026 F150 ecoboost only, and will begin rolling it out to more models/trims as we go. No mention of it being on the Explorer yet Only technical difference I have found are the turbos. 2025+ are slightly smaller on the...

That's what I saw as well.

Did the horsepower change on the 3.0L

Popcorn in hand here. Seems to me this is not a typo. Have read a few FB group rumors that this is a quiet revision due some changes made, but have not seen anything official from Ford other than their own website. I'm searching the site and there is no more mention of 400HP anywhere

Broken lower control arm proof - Not spamming

Edit: disregard. I think instating the wrong manufacturing process for these.

What the heck happened to my exhaust?

I concur with the others. It's been repaired before and then rusted out and failed again. Does look like the weld at the resonator is in rough shape as well.

Ford Performance Racing School is now Wheelhouse Racing

Got bored and did an inflation adjusted base model V8 price for each gen. Cheapest V8 numbers i could find. Might not be 100% accurate so don't crucify me if i'm off a bit. 1st Gen: (1965) $28,500 2nd gen: (1975) $21,200 3rd gen: (1987) $35,900 4th Gen: (1999) $43,075 5th Gen: (2009)...

Sync 4 with screen upgrade 22 ST

Wow. First time I’ve seen that. the fact I would have to reach around it to hit the engine start/stop button just completely turns me off to that.

    Tinted ST pictures

My rear side windows measured 15% on my meter before tinting. I was actually surprised at how dark they were. Back window is lighter but i don't recall the reading.

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

    I couldn’t tell a difference.

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

I paid $4.90 for premium the other day I did have to make a 200-300 mile drive for work. Pulled up to the pump and figured since I was just cruising at 75 in eco mode anyway I threw some 89 octane in.

Is there a difference between 20/21 inch rims/speedo

Tire OD difference is 0.3" but that will depend on what brand tires as there are minor differences in OD among tire models even in the same size. If you wanted, i think you can even go into ForScan and adjust the tire size there to correct it, but i wouldn't sweat it. As you can see here, the...

    P0456 Very Small leak

On other vehicles, my "test" was to remove the EVAP purge valve (assuming easily accessible) and simply blow through it. Air should not pass through. If it does, replace the purge valve. Please note, i have not tried this on the explorer valve yet as mine has not failed yet. Of course if...

    Explorer ST SUV Experience

Awesome. And I'm sure Ford reduced MSRP to offset the elimination of the program in addition to some of the removed features on the '26? (sarcasm)

Rear differential brace Steeda, Livernois, ID speed

It's the diff brace too. They offer a "hardcore" option that is a higher durometer bushing as compared to the standard bushings Steeda 555-8141 Explorer Rear Differential Brace (20-25)

Thanks but wasn’t all me. Part numbers and pics provided by the OP helped me get through this.

    Install Rear Camera Washer

Couple more pics that might help folks doing this. Tackled the spoiler today, which was the hardest part of the job and why I saved it for last. 3 10mm nuts hold it on. One in the center and one on each end. After that it’s 9 or so clips which are a royal PITa. first, use a phillips to...

    Install Rear Camera Washer

Btw, if you break the clips for the rear trim where the camera is, I wasn’t able to find a direct part number for that clip, but did find something similar. Ford p/n W716352-S300 I bought a pack of cheap Amazon knock-offs which seem to do the trick.

    Center console and cup holders

There are videos on Youtube on the process, which will help give you a good visual. Below is just one as an example. The cupholders can be repaired. There are 4 plastic spot welds on the bottom of each and what happens is they fail and push through. Folks have reinforced the old ones (or...
