PSA for those with Aftermarket Exhaust

Nothing to it. Laid on my back and just took a bit to the lowest part. Poked thru and water came out right away.

PSA for those with Aftermarket Exhaust

Just drilled a hole in each of mine. 5/32. I was shocked at how much water came out. I’d venture at least 12 ounces out of each if not more.

    Miles Stock Breaks?

Just had new front brakes done. Rotors and pads and assembly. Bad pitting and lip on the rotors was causing a loud clunking noise when applying the brakes at slow speeds. 2022 with 40,500 miles. Rear brakes are fine and have plenty of life. Upstate NY snow and salt hard on the brakes and car.

    Clunking sounds while braking

Ended up being the front brakes. Bad pitting and rust and a big lip on the rotors causing the backplate of the pad to be loose and have some play. Replaced the front brakes completely with new rotors and pads and assembly and the noise is gone. 2022 with 40,500 miles on it. Guess that’s upstate...

    Steering Creaking

Ended up being front brakes. Rotors on the front were pitted and rusted bad and there was a large lip on the back side of one of the rotors causing the pad backing plate to have some play in it.

    Steering Creaking

I have a similar noise and hear it when turning too but have also noticed it when applying the brakes at low speed. Do you notice it more when you hit the brakes? It’s definitely an audible noise. Dealer couldn’t find anything loose but I don’t know how hard they looked or what they looked at.

    Clunking / creaking brake noise

So I posted this on another thread but was seeing if anyone else has had this issue. It’s a little faint but definitely there when applying the brakes. That’s mainly when it occurs but only after you’ve been driving for awhile and the vehicle has warmed up and it only does it at slow speed like...

    Clunking sounds while braking

Yea it’s definitely not that as I don’t have that button on ours. We don’t have the front cameras. It’s just strange because it seems to only do it when it’s warm out or when you’ve been driving awhile and everything is warmed up. Doesn’t happen when braking from speed. Only when moving at slow...

PSA for those with Aftermarket Exhaust

Curious why most aftermarket exhausts don’t come with them? Seems like something that would make sense to do but I’m sure there’s a cost benefit analysis that wins out.

    Clunking sounds while braking

I am definitely getting a clicking or clunking sound when I apply the brakes. More noticeable when it is warmer out or when driving for awhile. Only happens at slower speeds but you can feel it in the steering wheel as well and in the brake pedal. Dealer couldn’t find anything but it had been...

    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

My build date was February 2022. When it warms up I need to get under there and take a look at everything

    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

It’s just a single bolt. I don’t think it has anything updated. We haven’t had any issues with it and bought it brand new and we’re at 38,000 miles now. Yea I may check with a dealer in Florida when we visit there.

    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

So I took mine in the other day for the recall and all they did was inspect the bolt and said it didn’t need attention at this time. Not sure wtf that means but clearly they didn’t replace the bushing or the bolt.

    Recommended 18” all black Wheel

Hell yea that’s awesome!! How are those tires? I’ve always heard good things about them. Looks sharp

    Recommended 18” all black Wheel

Very smooth. No more road noise than the stock tires.

    Recommended 18” all black Wheel

Yea it read the correct psi right away. I checked the psi in them once I got them mounted just to put them all at about 33. I didn’t get any low tire lights or anything. Hopefully your process with tire rack is just as smooth. Definitely opt for the black valve stems and they called me to...

    Recommended 18” all black Wheel

Yea I was looking at the timberline wheels but Enkei is a pretty reputable brand and I really like the way this setup turned out. Enkei model # 536-880-6535BK 18X8 ENKEI PERFORMANCE PX-10 GLS BLACK...

    Recommended 18” all black Wheel

It’s hub centric. I didn’t do anything other than take off the old wheels and tires and mount the new ones. Been on for about 5,000 miles and no issues.

    Recommended 18” all black Wheel

I got some 18” Enkei wheels and Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S from Tirerack. Really pleased with this combo and set. I don’t think they are 0 offset but I didn’t need a hub spacer or anything. They matched right up. Tire size is 265/65R18.wheels are Enkei performance px-10

    Ford Performance skid plate kit

I ended up getting mine cancelled. It was a hassle with ford and I was pretty frustrated but it all worked out in the end and they finally cancelled it a couple weeks ago. They said it was unacceptable multiple times but it took multiple supervisors to cancel it. They gave no update as to a date...
