Is removing the bolt essentially just supporting the diff with a Jack and then removing the old bolt and swapping in a new one? Or is there more to it? Pry a dumb question but if I wanted to see if my bolt was bent I didn’t know if it was something easy to check

Oh I get it for sure it’s just seems like a crazy design from Ford to have that type of a system in place just to check the transmission fluid.

Had my driver side unit replaced this week at the dealer under warranty. Have 20k miles on this 2022. One of the switches started to crack and peel and was sharp. Made it seem like it was a common thing when I showed the service rep. No cost of under 36k miles so that was nice.

So when I had recent service at the dealer I asked them to check the transmission fluid level. They told me it would cost approx $250 because they have to get it up to operating temp and then do “whatever they need to do” to check the fluid level. uhhhhhhh hard pass on that. Ridiculous and insane!

I know it calls for 91 or 93 octane (we generally only have 91 here) but has anyone using it been running 89 with any issues? Would there be any issues running 89 vs 91 or 93?

Yea the 3” seemed a little too deep and not something I needed as I don’t really plan any other performance mods aside from a maybe a tune in a couple years. Very happy with the way this 2.5” kit turned out.

Just checked Ford Pass app and it now shows the recall and a CSP. Curious what the CSP is and what they are going to do? Extend the warranty or add the bolt?
