I bought the pup the day after it was unloaded from the truck and readied for delivery. So, apparently, it was placed their during the build. Ford strikes again!

Remote features disabled to preserve battery

Did a search - it appears to be a fuse box cover. Under the hood on the drivers side cowling is a removable cover. I opened the cover and their was an exposed fuse box. The only way this could fit is to put it over the fuse box and then place the cowling (with another access cover) over it...

1st - Reset the BMS yesterday... 2nd - Checked the battery connections (passenger side - top left corner) all looked good. Took ride out for 1/2 hour driving at 60mph. This time - the warning didn't clear itself out like before... 3rd - Trickle charger - hey, I am 79 years old and no longer...

OK - gave it a shot. The battery indicator flashed three times after I followed your instructions. Thanks a bunch - will let you know what happens the next few days. Again - thanks for taking the time to provide the procedures.

Remote features disabled to preserve battery

It clears up the moment I start the car and stays off for a few days. FWIW - I only get the message in FordPass - nothing on the dash when I do start it after a message. Should I still try the reset or wait until it happens again? Thanks!

Remote features disabled to preserve battery

Just got my third warning in two weeks. Funny, no warning until my android Ford Pass application was updated. Anyway - I drive my ride everyday - just took it out for a hour drive (without lights, air conditioning, etc.) to see what that does. I have an appoint for Thursday to have it checked...

CLOSED: October Software Update - Temperature Gauges Display

I always monitor my "Tire Pressure" and "Temperature Gauges." I have noticed that my "Engine Coolant" seems to indicate a cooler running engine? For the past year - it always centered just above the the M in "Transmission". Now, it seems to stay just above the A in "Transmission." Both...

Infotainment update is horrible need help

UPDATE: I was able to change the left and right side back to black (like the rest of the screen). I had to go to Settings and change from "Dark" mode to "Light" and back to "Dark" - BINGO - I am living the dream again.

Infotainment update is horrible need help

I dislike the white columns I have now on both side of the display. Left side now has setting, etc. buttons and right side now has telephone, etc. buttons. I really prefer the background to be the same as the center on both sides of the screen. Oh well...

    October Software Update Installed Today

I agree completely! The full screen was easier to understand and had everything at your finger tips. I would love to talk to the designer(s) to find out if they ever used some of the features they change. Such a shame...

    Parking Brake Fault

Noppa! You must set the Emergency Brake on when you need it. Also, when you place it in Drive - the Emergency Brake stays active until you take it off. Now, to be fair - I have never really hit the gas pedal real hard to see if it wouldn't "eventually" release.

    Parking Brake Fault

I had it happen a few times as well. BUT, only when I didn't set my Emergency Brake when shutting off the engine - when I would restart my engine (only twice during an extended period of time when not using the Emergency Brake) I would get the fault. Now I automatically place the Emergency...
