    Parking Brake Fault

Noppa! You must set the Emergency Brake on when you need it. Also, when you place it in Drive - the Emergency Brake stays active until you take it off. Now, to be fair - I have never really hit the gas pedal real hard to see if it wouldn't "eventually" release.

    Parking Brake Fault

I had it happen a few times as well. BUT, only when I didn't set my Emergency Brake when shutting off the engine - when I would restart my engine (only twice during an extended period of time when not using the Emergency Brake) I would get the fault. Now I automatically place the Emergency...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I got tired of catching my Microfiber Drying Towel on the letters (both front and rear). So, when I was getting my oil changed - I asked if they can be removed. The front letters weren't even centered. I prefer both front and back removed.

    CLOSED: 2025 Ford ST-Line - Inspection Problem?

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE Just got a call from my Ford Dealer about my "inspection" problem. They heard back from Ford and Ford said my computer is working just fine. The problem has to be for my States Department of Vehicles Inspection Software provided. So, my dealer contacted DOT and guess...

    CLOSED: 2025 Ford ST-Line - Inspection Problem?

I stopped by and they said they go through the OBD2 port. They are still waiting on Ford. My puppy will be a year old in September and this is the first real problem I have had. Hopefully, they will hear something shortly. Thanks for your comments.

    CLOSED: 2025 Ford ST-Line - Inspection Problem?

Haven't a clue. All I know is they had two different technicians do what they do all the time and it just wouldn't connect. Did they simply use WiFi? Did they use the OBD2 reader? Haven't a clue. I am going to give them a call Wednesday and see if they heard from Ford. If they haven't...

    CLOSED: 2025 Ford ST-Line - Inspection Problem?

My dealer couldn't get their Software (Safety Inspection Program) to "talk" to my ride. I guess that means their computer can't connect to my computer. They have a call into Ford for assistance. Anyone else have that problem? Thanks!

Yuppa on same location - something is different for me anyway. I am pushing 80 so it is probably age! :) Didn't know about the "soft rev limiter" - that is great. Thanks for the reply.

My problem with front tinted windows...

My main issue with members increasing the tint on side windows and front windshield is when it is so dark that I can't see the driver. Ever come to a 4 way stop? Maybe it is me - but I want to make sure the driver isn't looking at his/her phone, etc. and see's me when it is my turn to leave...

    Gas Pedal Location?

Just wondering, has anyone else have a problem with the way the 2025 gas pedal is mounted? Out of all the cars I have owned - this is the first ride that I occasionally hit the gas pedal while getting into the seat. Fortunately, I catch it before I red line the engine. Probably just me! :)
