The only way that fuse box cover could end up there is for someone to remove it and forget/neglect to replace it.
I bought the pup the day after it was unloaded from the truck and readied for delivery. So, apparently, it was placed their during the build. Ford strikes again!

UPDATE: They replaced the battery. This was the description:

Connected Diagnostic Battery Charger to battery. Charger tested battery, battery passed test initially, then after 20 minutes of charging the battery failed due to sulfation/degraded. Removed and replaced battery, reset the BMS System, battery state of charge went up to 87%. State of charge before replacement was 58%. Verified battery was charging at 14.3 volts. Cleared any resulting DTCS.

NEW PROBLEM: Got the car back and noticed the time was wrong, I would keep getting notices about text messages I already received, "not connected" message, etc. Got a new text message and it did show up but still the "not connected" message when I replied even though it went through. I took it back to Ford and they couldn't get it to work correctly. So, they are now going to run a bunch of tests. Maybe it is just time to bite the bullet, take a loss on a ride that is 11 months old and get rid of this POS. Yea, I am pissed. But, it all passes.
