I have not tried this but to the cruise control You can also switch to the traditional cruise control setting without Stop and Go by going to the information display, selecting Settings and then selecting Cruise Control.

Spoke with the service manager. Sent them a message before your extremely helpful tip. He called after you assisted in fixing the issue. I asked if he heard about the issue. He said they had no idea but could run some diagnostics and ensure its all up to date. I said no thanks and shared your info.

I can only assume it was to hold a phone due to no wireless Android Auto or Car Play. Unfortunately if this is true everyone at Ford has a small phone... It has a rubber mat for easy cleaning. I have not left the house in a while but can anyone verify if it will hold fries or a hash brown...

I am not sure only seen reports for Android Auto. Takes 30 seconds. Please give it a try and let everyone know. Hopefully help someone in the future.

I have had multiple updates on both our Explorers. Just ensure you connect to your homes wifi. Generally happens over night. Some of these can be quite large so I would not recommend waiting for them to complete.

Phone connected to bluetooth only. Go into the phone settings / ring tones. Turn it either off or to use phone ring tone. Reconnect to Android Auto. Phone calls work perfectly. Prior to this info only outgoing calls had audio. Stupid bug that has been around for a long time apparently according...

Found a youtube video. Apparently this issue is not new and dates back to Sync 2. I was able to set it to use phone ring tone and it worked. So at least I still have an audio notice. Thank you for the info. I was going crazy not being able to use my phone for calls.

OMG. How flipping dumb. Turn off the cars ring tone or set it to use the phones ring tone and it works!!! THANK YOU!!

Same issue with the phone audio. I have seen a few other people post about it but no resolution. I have not yet taken it to the dealer as I just got the vehicle.
