    Side Mirror Overextending

I'm sure it's not what you want to hear but our '22 started doing this on the passenger side. Thankfuly it was still under warranty and they fixed it but gave us a hard time. They said the mirror had been forced in and the gear was cracked. They said they had to replace the whole mirror and...

    Sync 4 13.2"

I guess if you have the cash lying around, don't mind the blocked vents and headaches getting it to work properly it's a good thing.

    Locking diff upgrades on ST?

I don't think the benefit would justify the expense. You'd likely have to buy new parts as finding something used would be near impossible (as stated above). My 2023 does just fine in the snow. Even deep snow! Maybe there is something wrong with your 4WD system.

    Additional Tune

Maybe I'm missing something here but if his 91 tune just has the timing and boost capped out, why can't it just be adjusted to accomodate 93? Why does he need a whole new tune?

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

Statista.com The Ford F-150 sits at the top of the list of the most vehicles sold in the US. The Ford Explorer placed third in the best selling SUV's, trailing the Toyota RAV-4 and Honda's CRV.

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

If you're happy with what you have then stick with it. Especially if you haven't had any issues. I don't think Fords have any more issues than the rest of the market. I bought my Escort LX new and drove it to the junk yard 15 years later with almost 400K miles on it. If the interior and body...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Put on four new Continental Crosscontact LX25's. Suposed to be decent tires but they are kind of loud. Also tried to have a four-wheel alignment done but as usual, they couldn't get it right. I'm going to take it to a shop my friends brother works at. Hopefuly he can get it right, or at least close.

    Fuel octane?

They definately run better on 93.

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

What a f-ing shit show! I just had new tires installed and a 4-wheel alignment. This is what I told them: 1. Jack up the rearend to take the weight off the wheels. 2. Lossen the camber adjustment nut 2 full turns. 3. Let the suspention settle and re-torque the nut. 4. Put the car down and check...

    Reverse lights

I've used these in several cars: Reverse Lights. They have been on my truck for a couple years now and still going strong. Very bright, super easy to install and they are not expensive.

    4WD Fault Service Required

Maybe so but just about everything else will be different. I've been repairing cars for over fifty year fella, you don't buy a Mercuray Capri manual to work on a Ford Mustang! The engine might be the same basically but not exactly. If he gets a Lincoln aviator manual for a Ford Explorer, a lot...

    4WD Fault Service Required

Regardless how much he knows, The Lincoln is going to be a lot different in places than the Explorer would be. I say get the right manual for the right vehicle!
