What torque wrench would you recommend?

Got a inch pound and a foot pound Craftsman's been using for years. Got a 3/4" drive 250 foot pound monster bought at harbor freight that I bought for suspension work.

Playing around with some Carbon Fiber Wrap ideas.

I've striped a couple of my vehicles with Oracal 951 vinyl. Rated for 8 to ten years use. I apply this wet with a solution of distilled water, a little rubbing alcohol and a drop or two of Dawn in a spray bottle. Most vinyl is graphed on the back paper which makes it easier to cut it straight. A...

Playing around with some Carbon Fiber Wrap ideas.

I'm liking the rear wing, the hood no so much. Would look better to carry the stripe under the front of the hood. I'd re-install the EXPLORER over the wrap. Just my opinion. Do you apply the vinyl wet? I could have never done that good unless I did.

    Floor Liners

I am finding the factory liners have a slick finish. My feet want to slide on them. That may get better as they wear in a little.

So what do you all do?

Retired from Ford Motor Lima Engine Plant, 31 years, in 2020. Worked the assembly lines for most of those years. From what I hear, with everything going on in the world, got out at a good time.

Who would cage such a beast?

56 mile car...amazing! That detailer knows his stuff. Wonder what happened to the car, and how much he got for it.

What is the flimsy panel covering the muffler area?

I think that some vehicles has that panel, mine didn't.

    Good clean humor and jokes

The other day I fell off of a 25 foot ladder. People ask if I hurt myself, I tell them " No I was on the lowest rung". [biggrin]

Post your favorite pic...it’s a show off thread.

Glad I found one with no moonroof. Nice surprise the other day. Found the carpet mats under the factory floor liners!

    Vertical Distortions In The Windshield

My wife noticed a small distortion while cleaning the front window on the lower left side. She thought it was a scuff or smudge. You have to really be looking for it to see it. Build date was 8/20.

    Jeopardy watchers

Ken Jennings has been taking a hit on comments he has made in the past on social media. Seems there always somebody ready to take you down if you start to succeed. The one host replacement that I never got was replacing Bob Barker with Drew Carrey on The Price Is Right. Caught an episode the...

What Do They Do With the Explorers...

Used in the ST Experience? Not so sure I would want one of those after they’re done with them. Do they sell them and divulge what they were used for?

    *Sold*...question if may?

mmm...I'm only 1200 miles away...:giggle: Nice wheels, should be an easy sell.

What’s the deal with the fiber/fabric in the wheel wells??

I’d much rather have a conventional plastic. Probably a recycled material.

EXPLORER ST DRIVING SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

I believe we'll still have to mask up and do the protocols. Ford racing sent me a Covid questionnaire that you fill out the day of the event.

    Back from ceramic coating

Back to the OP, That's one shiny Explorer! I haven't seen a black one up close. Is it metallic? Back in 2015 when I bought my truck, all I could get was Tuxedo Black Metallic.
