It actually is just the tune. 2022+ Platinums/KR's come with the same power as the ST's. Even then for 20/21 Platinum, far as I know nobody has actually dyno'd a Platinum. So not sure how much power is it really down by, if any.

Oh there will be ways of getting tunes just not as easy nor directly from the MFG. Will also not be cheap and will probably need a spare PCM. As much as I like the JB4, I wouldnt exactly call them "tunes". Still, had a great experience with them on my BMW, Terry was always on top of things.
