I put one of the metal base plates on the bottom of the center console insert...figured it would be easy storage and easy to grab. Then I figured out on accident it’ll connect from there so I don’t even touch it anymore.

I sold mine for $2000...they seem to have gone down now that more people are going aftermarket and selling theirs. You’ll keep them for a long time at $2500.

Swapped the mufflers out...100% lateral move from the Magnaflows. No change in tone or volume I can discern and still shows a peak in cabin of 187hz. Looks like I’ll be building another set of resonators and leaving it alone now. If anyone was looking to build a system though I’d recommend the...

I swapped mufflers today....total lateral move. Same tone, volume and drone frequency and the Magnaflows before the 1/4 wave resonators. mine is still 187hz...not sure why yours was so much lower. Minor differences in parts make a big difference I guess.

If you had it apart and see how it’s a sealed piece to force air through the radiator stack you wouldn’t want to change it anymore.

Two 7mm screws at the bottom of the panel, one 7mm screw behind the trim the pops off behind the door handle and one 10mm screw under the trim with the switches (two of those on the back doors) then just pull hard and it pops off. A high quality flex joint won’t rattle...and 2.5” pipe will outflow 2.25” pipe.
