For the price, RTR wheels are tough to beat. I mean, yes you can drop a mortgage payment or 3 on forged 22s, but even with the "lowly" flow-formed Tech 5s I dropped 9 pounds per corner over stock. Just make sure you're looking at the S550 Mustang RTRs for the proper fit.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Yes, one-way check valve. Seems to be the only speed bleeder I've found that gets good reviews. Yes you have to add some hose to it so you don't just spray fluid all over the place, but you don't need to worry about closing it until you're done, air or dirty fluid won't go back in. Just pump...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed the GT350 front brakes. Please excuse the dirty wheels, I need to wash it. I got the black base GT350 calipers as I have the poverty-spec base brakes anyway, no need for red. Used all the Ford hardware, only changes were Powerstop Z23 pads and MMR caliper bolts instead of the Ford...

    Rear wiper delete now available.

Super easy. Unbolt the wiper arm from the outside. Pull off the hatch interior panel, unscrew the wiper motor, put the plug in place. Was a 30 minute job.

    Rare car spotting

I live in southern Orange County. I see so many exotic and high-end cars daily I'm jaded. South OC Cars and Coffee in San Clemente has everything you can imagine. I can't think of any car I haven't seen in person.

    Fenfab toe links

Get them. It sounds like the V2 issue has been resolved and if you ordered you'd get the V1 design. I definitely recommend this mod. I have the Steeda ones (they have an unnecessary adjustable design, but I like the tubular look and got a screaming deal on them), but even at stock power...

Chattering suspension over bumps... looses traction, uneasy feeling

I didn't notice your issue but when I lowered mine at 25K miles, both rear shocks were already leaking. Many others have seen the same. If you're out of warranty, the factory ST shocks are only like $60ea at Rock Auto and a super easy part to replace.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

While I'm waiting for all the parts for the front GT350 brakes to arrive, I replaced the rear pads and rotors with Powerstop Z23 pads and their coated blank rotors. Yes, it's ridiculous how small these poverty-spec base ST brakes on the rear. Easy job except for a quick freak-out when I...

Need any advice I can get

Most 21 and 22s have 1 bolt in the back of the diff. Just peak under your car and look.

    275/50R20 - Stock 20” Wheels?

There aren't any NT420V sizes I'd run on the stock rim, as it's too narrow. They have a 265 and 275, but they don't have the right aspect ratio to match the factory diameter.

Nice, that's my local dealer. I think the Thermal 2.5 is just fine. Loud outside on cold start only, but not loud at all inside. No drone at all. Especially if you stick with stock cats. Personally I'd go 3 as I think it sounds a bit better, but if you want to save a few hundred the 2.5 is great.

    EBC Greens and Rotors

I know Powerstop makes a slotted/cross drilled rotor for the ST base and Street Pack. They also make coated blank rotors.

    Brembo brakes

The Mustang GT PP Brembos are flange-mount like the Jeep SRT Brembos, but because the bolt holes don't line up there isn't enough room to fit an adapter bracket. The Jeep SRT Brembos happen to line up. Now the GT350 Brembos are radial-mount, so there is plenty of room to fit the adapter...

    SCT X4 tuner / tune results !!

We can look at the objective data, ZFG has the fastest ExSTs. Dragys and time slips back that up. But what about the people who don't want to wring every last tenth out of this truck (and that should be most of us because let's be real, most here are running low 12s or mid 11s, no one is going...

@R2D2 I know a great place in Orange County (Irvine/Laguna Hills) if you're down here for the day.

    After Camera Recall

My dealer has a general rule, they follow Ford's recommendation 2 times, and the 3rd time they'll replace every part they can. They performed both recalls on the camera, and when I got the blue screen again they replaced the camera. No issues since. Ask them to just replace it.
