Stick it out with ST, or call it?

Dang I sympathize eith you. We had a 2020 ST that was one of the first ones built, and it had every problem that you will ever read. But, ever since we had to get rid of it I dreamed about it for a year and a half and finally pulled the trigger. When your sitting in a shop all your can think...

JROS (Jury-Rigged O'Reilly Special) Resonator Delete

This is exactly what I was looking to do. I know this is an older thread, but a couple questions I like the more V6 tone that the res delete provides but how much louder is it? Have you noticed any drone? Is it as quite as the stock exhaust during normal driving and the radio on?

    Ford third row floor liner?

That looks like it would go all the way. Why would the Explorer one and the Lincoln one be different?

    Ford third row floor liner?

You said those were husky, not Ford Accesories.

    Ford third row floor liner?

Sadly that is correct. I don't know why it didn't come all the way down.

    Fuel octane

87 octane is minimum. Not much bettee performance for 91. You should only use it if you have a very heavy right foot or you are towing.

    Power Liftgate

I know the one feature that I wouldve wanted ommited is still there. Doesn't matter really since Sport mode is pretty much all I use.

    Intake pipe

Like most if the other stock parts, that tube is fine unless your get a custom tune. That's where you might see a slight difference.

    Power Liftgate

The foot activated part. Ford hasn't deleted the power liftgate part.

    Full Size Spare Location?

It wont fit in that compartment.

    AFe front/rear sway bars?

This has been covered A LOT. Front bar isnt worth it, rear is.

    Active Grille Shutters

They arent necessary vut they help the engine warm up faster, putting less wear and tear on the engine parts. I dont see the point to this mod as I cant see a differwnce that is worth it.

    Active Grille Shutters

It will only generate codes if you remove the whole assmembly. If you just remove the shutters, it wont.

    305-35-22 Tires vs 315-35-22 Tires

H&Rs are probably the best choice unless your tow, which the Steedas would be next best. Yes you woulf definitly need an alignment.

    Active Grille Shutters

First off the stock intercooler is fine for stock power numbers. I think I would need some rock solid numbers for removing the shutters. I wouldn't mess too much on grille shutters, I dont think it is worth the trouble, and plus there is a reason Ford put them there. I do not think you will see...

    Intercooler Lag ?

Matlybe it is the transmission downshifting? There definitly is a lot of lag there.
  17. 2020FordRaptor

    Active Grille Shutters

Why would you want to do this? Yes, unless codes will show.
  18. 2020FordRaptor

    Intercooler Lag ?

Correct me if Im wrong, I wouldn't think this intercooler would effects turbo lag. It is just sending cooling the air go in in the turbos, not providing the air.
